When the Epson EP-778A reaches its maintenance threshold, Epson firmware may block printing as a safeguard. In most cases, this is resolved with a counter reset.
During head cleaning and maintenance cycles, excess ink is routed to internal absorber pads. The Epson EP-778A uses a software counter to estimate pad saturation and locks printing at a set threshold.

Reset Epson EP-778A Waste Ink Counter in 3 Steps
- Passo 1: Use a Windows PC (7–11) with Internet access. Connect Epson EP-778A via USB (Wi-Fi reset is not supported).
