Epson ET-2713 Reset Waste Ink Counter
When Epson ET-2713 reports that an ink pad needs service, restarting the printer alone normally does not clear the lock. A compatible reset procedure is required.
The counter behind the Epson ET-2713 warning
Waste ink produced by cleaning cycles is collected inside the printer. Epson ET-2713 tracks those cycles electronically and can stop printing when the calculated limit is reached.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson ET-2713. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson ET-2713
Complete these steps in order. A direct USB connection and the original Epson driver are essential for reliable communication.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for ET-2713 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson ET-2713 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson ET-2713.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson ET-2713 is not detected
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
- Install the original Epson driver for ET-2713; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.

No. It changes the stored counter value. Inspect, clean or replace the physical waste ink system when its condition requires it.
