Epson L4158 Reset Waste Ink Counter
A waste ink counter warning can prevent Epson L4158 from printing even when the printer is otherwise working normally. Follow the checks and reset sequence below to restore operation safely.
The counter behind the Epson L4158 warning
The printer protects against possible ink overflow by monitoring an internal service counter. On Epson L4158, reaching the threshold can trigger an ink pad warning and block further jobs.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson L4158. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson L4158
The reset normally takes only a few minutes, but the printer must be detected correctly before the key is used.
