Model-specific reset guide
Epson XP-630 Obnovenie počítadla spotrebovaného atramentu
Epson XP-630 may refuse new print jobs after estimating that the waste ink pads have reached their service limit. Wic Reset Connect can reset the software counter after the printer is prepared correctly.
Understanding the Epson XP-630 waste ink warning
The printer protects against possible ink overflow by monitoring an internal service counter. On Epson XP-630, reaching the threshold can trigger an ink pad warning and block further jobs.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson XP-630. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson XP-630
Use the sequence below to establish a stable USB connection and clear the waste ink counter.

-

Connect Epson XP-630 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.
-

Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson XP-630 is not detected
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
- Install the original Epson driver for XP-630; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
Epson XP-630 reset FAQ
Does the reset clean or replace the ink pads?
No. It changes the stored counter value. Inspect, clean or replace the physical waste ink system when its condition requires it.
How long does the reset take?
The reset itself usually finishes in about 1–2 minutes after the printer has been detected correctly.
What if the first reset attempt fails?
Correct the driver or USB communication problem first. If the key was consumed, use the new-key generator or contact support.
Restore Epson XP-630
A direct USB connection, the correct driver and a valid key are all you need to reset Epson XP-630.
