Epson EP-804A Waste Ink Counter Reset
If your Epson EP-804A suddenly refuses to print and shows a maintenance warning, it is often caused by the waste ink (ink pad) counter threshold.
During head cleaning and maintenance cycles, excess ink is routed to internal absorber pads. The Epson EP-804A uses a software counter to estimate pad saturation and locks printing at a set threshold.
