Model-specific reset guide
Epson NX510 Reset Waste Ink Counter
If your Epson NX510 has stopped with an ink pad or service-life warning, the printer may have reached its waste ink counter limit. This model-specific guide explains what the message means and how to complete the reset with Wic Reset Connect.
The counter behind the Epson NX510 warning
An ink pad message is a maintenance safeguard. It indicates that Epson NX510 has reached a stored waste ink value that must be reset before normal printing can resume.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson NX510. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson NX510
The reset normally takes only a few minutes, but the printer must be detected correctly before the key is used.

Install the official Epson driver for NX510 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.
-
Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson NX510 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.
-

If Epson NX510 is not detected
- Install the original Epson driver for NX510; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep the internet connection active throughout validation.
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
Epson NX510 reset FAQ
What if the first reset attempt fails?
Correct the driver or USB communication problem first. If the key was consumed, use the new-key generator or contact support.
Does Epson NX510 need service mode?
No. Epson printers do not use the Canon service-mode sequence. Connect the printer normally by USB.
Does the reset clean or replace the ink pads?
No. It changes the stored counter value. Inspect, clean or replace the physical waste ink system when its condition requires it.
