Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for NX515 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson NX515 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson NX515.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson NX515 is not detected
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep the internet connection active throughout validation.
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
- Install the original Epson driver for NX515; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.

Does Epson NX515 need service mode?
No. Epson printers do not use the Canon service-mode sequence. Connect the printer normally by USB.
What if the first reset attempt fails?
Correct the driver or USB communication problem first. If the key was consumed, use the new-key generator or contact support.
Does the reset clean or replace the ink pads?
No. It changes the stored counter value. Inspect, clean or replace the physical waste ink system when its condition requires it.
