Epson XP-217 Reset Waste Ink Counter
Epson XP-217 may refuse new print jobs after estimating that the waste ink pads have reached their service limit. Wic Reset Connect can reset the software counter after the printer is prepared correctly.
Why the ink pad counter blocks Epson XP-217
Waste ink produced by cleaning cycles is collected inside the printer. Epson XP-217 tracks those cycles electronically and can stop printing when the calculated limit is reached.

Connect Epson XP-217 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson XP-217.

Inserisci la chiave acquistata, scegli Reset e mantieni la stampante collegata fino al completamento.
If Epson XP-217 is not detected
- Chiudi Epson Status Monitor e qualsiasi altro software di manutenzione Epson prima di avviare Wic Reset Connect.
- Cancella i lavori di stampa sospesi e riavvia sia la stampante sia Windows se un altro programma sta occupando la connessione USB.
- Collega la stampante direttamente al computer. Non utilizzare Wi-Fi, hub USB, docking station o server di stampa.
- Install the original Epson driver for XP-217; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
