Epson WorkForce 635 may refuse new print jobs after estimating that the waste ink pads have reached their service limit. Wic Reset Connect can reset the software counter after the printer is prepared correctly.
Why the ink pad counter blocks Epson WorkForce 635
Every cleaning cycle sends a small amount of ink to the waste ink system. Epson WorkForce 635 adds that activity to its counter and displays a maintenance warning when the programmed threshold is reached.

Reset the counter in Epson WorkForce 635
Prepare the computer and connection first. Most unsuccessful attempts are caused by a missing original driver, an indirect USB connection or another Epson utility using the printer.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for WorkForce 635 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson WorkForce 635 is not detected
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep the internet connection active throughout validation.
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
