Epson Photo 1500W records cleaning cycles and waste ink usage in an internal counter. When that value reaches its programmed limit, printing can stop until the counter is reset.
Why Epson Photo 1500W stops printing
Epson Photo 1500W uses stored counter data to estimate absorber usage. The estimate may reach its limit before the pads appear completely saturated, but physical maintenance should still be considered.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson Photo 1500W. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson Photo 1500W
The reset normally takes only a few minutes, but the printer must be detected correctly before the key is used.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for Photo 1500W and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson Photo 1500W to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson Photo 1500W.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson Photo 1500W is not detected
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
- Install the original Epson driver for Photo 1500W; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
