Canon TS8320 Ink Absorber Full Reset
The waste ink system in Canon TS8320 collects ink used during cleaning cycles. Once the estimated limit is reached, service mode and a compatible counter reset may be required.
Before resetting Canon TS8320
The lock is based on accumulated maintenance activity. Resetting Canon TS8320 changes the counter value but does not remove ink already held in the absorber material.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon TS8320. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
How to enter service mode on Canon TS8320
- Turn the printer off.
- Premir e manter premido Parar/Reiniciar.
- Enquanto mantém premido Stop/Reset, prima e mantenha premido Potência.
- Release Stop/Reset but keep holding Power.
- Press and release Stop/Reset 5 vezes.
- Wait briefly, then release Power. The power indicator should remain steadily lit.
Reset the counter in Canon TS8320
First make sure the power indicator is steady and no cartridge or mechanical error is active. Then prepare the Windows computer and direct USB connection.

Prepare the printer
Resolve other errors, confirm a steady power light and enter service mode using the sequence above.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Canon TS8320 to a Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11 computer without Wi-Fi or a USB hub.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Run the program as Administrator and wait until the Canon service-mode device is detected.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, select Reset and keep the printer connected until confirmation appears.
If Canon TS8320 is not detected
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep internet access active for key validation.
- If Windows does not detect a service-mode device, restart the printer normally, wait 10 seconds and repeat the preparation.
- Close Canon maintenance utilities and clear paused print jobs before opening Wic Reset Connect.
- If the power light blinks, resolve the displayed cartridge, paper or mechanical error before trying service mode again.

Does the reset clean the ink absorber?
No. It resets the stored counter. Inspect, clean or replace the absorber pads when their physical condition requires maintenance.
Does Canon TS8320 require service mode?
Yes. The printer must expose its maintenance interface before the counter can be reset with Wic Reset Connect.
Can I perform the reset over Wi-Fi?
No. Use a direct USB connection between the printer and a Windows computer.
