Model-specific reset guide
Epson ET-1812 Reset Waste Ink Counter
A waste ink counter warning can prevent Epson ET-1812 from printing even when the printer is otherwise working normally. Follow the checks and reset sequence below to restore operation safely.
Before resetting Epson ET-1812
During head cleaning and normal maintenance, unused ink is directed into internal absorber pads. Epson ET-1812 estimates that accumulation with a software counter; it does not directly measure the physical amount of ink in the pads.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson ET-1812. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
