WIC RESET CONNECT
Reset the waste ink counter in supported Epson printers and the ink absorber counter in supported Canon printers.
Reset key delivered automatically
Your Wic Reset Connect license key will be sent automatically to your email address as soon as payment is confirmed.
- A computer with Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11 is required.
- Connect the printer directly with a USB cable. Wi-Fi and USB hubs are not supported.
Before purchasing a key, confirm that your printer model is supported.
Is your printer showing a service-life warning?
Typical messages include:
- “The ink pad in the printer is nearing the end of its service life.”
- “The printer is approaching the end of its service life.”
Epson and Canon printers estimate absorber usage from printed pages and print-head cleaning cycles. The waste ink container may therefore not be physically full when the printer stops working.
Wic Reset Connect resets the counter so the printer can resume printing.
Reset unsuccessful?
If the reset does not complete, you can generate a new key and try again after correcting the cause of the failed attempt.
The new key generator is available immediately. Our support is also available if you need help completing the reset.
Canon printers require service mode
Before purchasing a key for a Canon printer, make sure the printer can enter service mode. Without service mode, the absorber counter cannot be reset.
The power LED must remain steadily lit. A blinking LED indicates another printer error that must be corrected before the reset.
Common causes include an unrecognized cartridge or an empty ink cartridge.

Parfait, utilisé sur Canon TS 8151. Bien noter qu’en mode service, le bouton de démarrage (sur la TS 8151 il n’y en a qu’un en façade) ne doit pas clignoter. S’il clignote, c’est qu’il y a une erreur à régler (le fait que le bac à sortie à sortie du papier (au-dessus du tiroir papier) soit rentré peu faire clignoter le bouton ! Après 2 tentatives infructueuses et avoir remédié enfin au blocage en tirant le bac de sortie papier 🙂 la réinitialisation s’est très bien faite. Seul regret l’utilitaire WicReset téléchargé ensuite n’est pas compatible avec ce modèle d’imprimante. Mais le principal est d’avoir démarré l’imprimante, ce qui était le principal !

The key worked perfectly well, once I made a thousand things to make my printer connect to the computer (as the printer was in P07 mode which seems to prevent it from connecting to the computer and being recognised by the software , I found the right manoeuvre on YouTube) I then could enter the key and it worked. Definitivamente, vale cada centavo pagado. En mi caso me compre la almohadilla de repuesto también, y ahora mi impresora tiene nueva vida útil. Contador en cero, y almohadilla limpia. I was ready to throw out my perfectly good Canon printer. Older model but still perfectly functional until the #&*#(&@ ink absorber almost full message started popping up. I rarely ran any cleaning cycles on this printer and I’m sure the absorber pads have a way to go before they start to fill up. Ran the reset program and the printer is back up and running. No more E08 codes! Best $8.00 I ever spent!
