Reset the counter in Epson TX117
The reset normally takes only a few minutes, but the printer must be detected correctly before the key is used.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for TX117 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson TX117 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson TX117.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson TX117 is not detected
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep the internet connection active throughout validation.
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
- Install the original Epson driver for TX117; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.

The reset itself usually finishes in about 1–2 minutes after the printer has been detected correctly.
