Epson ET-2702 Reset Waste Ink Counter
The service-required message on Epson ET-2702 often relates to the internal waste ink counter rather than an empty cartridge or paper fault. The steps below help you confirm and resolve that condition.
Why Epson ET-2702 stops printing
During head cleaning and normal maintenance, unused ink is directed into internal absorber pads. Epson ET-2702 estimates that accumulation with a software counter; it does not directly measure the physical amount of ink in the pads.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson ET-2702. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
