Epson L100 records cleaning cycles and waste ink usage in an internal counter. When that value reaches its programmed limit, printing can stop until the counter is reset.
Why the ink pad counter blocks Epson L100
During head cleaning and normal maintenance, unused ink is directed into internal absorber pads. Epson L100 estimates that accumulation with a software counter; it does not directly measure the physical amount of ink in the pads.

Reset the counter in Epson L100

Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson L100.

If Epson L100 is not detected
- Install the original Epson driver for L100; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
