Epson T1100 Reset Waste Ink Counter
Epson T1100 records cleaning cycles and waste ink usage in an internal counter. When that value reaches its programmed limit, printing can stop until the counter is reset.
Understanding the Epson T1100 waste ink warning
Every cleaning cycle sends a small amount of ink to the waste ink system. Epson T1100 adds that activity to its counter and displays a maintenance warning when the programmed threshold is reached.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson T1100. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson T1100
The reset normally takes only a few minutes, but the printer must be detected correctly before the key is used.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for T1100 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson T1100 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson T1100.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson T1100 is not detected
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
- Install the original Epson driver for T1100; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep the internet connection active throughout validation.
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.

How long does the reset take?
The reset itself usually finishes in about 1–2 minutes after the printer has been detected correctly.
Can I reset Epson T1100 over Wi-Fi?
No. Wic Reset Connect requires a direct USB connection to the Windows computer.
What if the first reset attempt fails?
Correct the driver or USB communication problem first. If the key was consumed, use the new-key generator or contact support.
