Before resetting Epson ME-510
Waste ink produced by cleaning cycles is collected inside the printer. Epson ME-510 tracks those cycles electronically and can stop printing when the calculated limit is reached.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson ME-510. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson ME-510
Start with the connection checks below, then run the reset without opening other printer programs during the process.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for ME-510 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson ME-510 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson ME-510.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson ME-510 is not detected
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep the internet connection active throughout validation.
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.

Does Epson ME-510 need service mode?
No. Epson printers do not use the Canon service-mode sequence. Connect the printer normally by USB.
