Epson L360 Reset Waste Ink Counter
If your Epson L360 has stopped with an ink pad or service-life warning, the printer may have reached its waste ink counter limit. This model-specific guide explains what the message means and how to complete the reset with Wic Reset Connect.
Why Epson L360 stops printing
During head cleaning and normal maintenance, unused ink is directed into internal absorber pads. Epson L360 estimates that accumulation with a software counter; it does not directly measure the physical amount of ink in the pads.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson L360. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson L360
Prepare the computer and connection first. Most unsuccessful attempts are caused by a missing original driver, an indirect USB connection or another Epson utility using the printer.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for L360 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson L360 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson L360.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson L360 is not detected
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep the internet connection active throughout validation.
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.

Does Epson L360 need service mode?
No. Epson printers do not use the Canon service-mode sequence. Connect the printer normally by USB.
Does the reset clean or replace the ink pads?
No. It changes the stored counter value. Inspect, clean or replace the physical waste ink system when its condition requires it.
Can I reset Epson L360 over Wi-Fi?
No. Wic Reset Connect requires a direct USB connection to the Windows computer.
