Epson ET-2810 Reset Waste Ink Counter
Epson ET-2810 records cleaning cycles and waste ink usage in an internal counter. When that value reaches its programmed limit, printing can stop until the counter is reset.
Before resetting Epson ET-2810
Epson ET-2810 uses stored counter data to estimate absorber usage. The estimate may reach its limit before the pads appear completely saturated, but physical maintenance should still be considered.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson ET-2810. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson ET-2810
Prepare the computer and connection first. Most unsuccessful attempts are caused by a missing original driver, an indirect USB connection or another Epson utility using the printer.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for ET-2810 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson ET-2810 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson ET-2810.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson ET-2810 is not detected
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
- Install the original Epson driver for ET-2810; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep the internet connection active throughout validation.

Can I reset Epson ET-2810 over Wi-Fi?
No. Wic Reset Connect requires a direct USB connection to the Windows computer.
Does Epson ET-2810 need service mode?
No. Epson printers do not use the Canon service-mode sequence. Connect the printer normally by USB.
What if the first reset attempt fails?
Correct the driver or USB communication problem first. If the key was consumed, use the new-key generator or contact support.
