Canon TS702 Ink Absorber Full Reset
An absorber warning on Canon TS702 does not necessarily mean that the printer is mechanically damaged. The software counter and the physical pads must be considered separately.
Before resetting Canon TS702
The lock is based on accumulated maintenance activity. Resetting Canon TS702 changes the counter value but does not remove ink already held in the absorber material.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon TS702. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
How to enter service mode on Canon TS702
- Turn the printer off.

Reset the counter in Canon TS702
First make sure the power indicator is steady and no cartridge or mechanical error is active. Then prepare the Windows computer and direct USB connection.

Prepare the printer
Resolve other errors, confirm a steady power light and enter service mode using the sequence above.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Canon TS702 to a Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11 computer without Wi-Fi or a USB hub.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Run the program as Administrator and wait until the Canon service-mode device is detected.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, select Reset and keep the printer connected until confirmation appears.
If Canon TS702 is not detected
- Connect Canon TS702 directly to the computer and try another data-capable USB cable or port.
- If the power light blinks, resolve the displayed cartridge, paper or mechanical error before trying service mode again.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep internet access active for key validation.
- Close Canon maintenance utilities and clear paused print jobs before opening Wic Reset Connect.
