Canon TR5051 may block print jobs after recording enough cleaning and maintenance cycles. Use the sequence below to enter service mode and reset the stored value.
Why Canon TR5051 reports an absorber error
The absorber pads collect ink generated during print-head cleaning. Canon TR5051 tracks those maintenance cycles in memory rather than measuring the pads directly.

How to enter service mode on Canon TR5051
- Turn the printer off.

- Repeat the button sequence at a steady pace; releasing Power too early is a common reason service mode fails.

- If Windows does not detect a service-mode device, restart the printer normally, wait 10 seconds and repeat the preparation.
- Connect Canon TR5051 directly to the computer and try another data-capable USB cable or port.
