Model-specific reset guide
Canon MB5300 Ink Absorber Full Reset
If Canon MB5300 displays an ink absorber full or service-required warning, the stored waste ink counter may have reached its limit. This guide covers service mode, USB preparation and the reset itself.
What stops Canon MB5300 from printing
Cleaning operations send unused ink into absorber pads inside the printer. Canon MB5300 estimates their usage with an electronic counter and can lock printing when that value reaches its limit.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon MB5300. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
