Canon TR8580 may block print jobs after recording enough cleaning and maintenance cycles. Use the sequence below to enter service mode and reset the stored value.
What the Canon TR8580 service message means
Cleaning operations send unused ink into absorber pads inside the printer. Canon TR8580 estimates their usage with an electronic counter and can lock printing when that value reaches its limit.

How to enter service mode on Canon TR8580
- Turn the printer off.
