The problem

The counter behind the Epson C120 warning

Epson C120 uses stored counter data to estimate absorber usage. The estimate may reach its limit before the pads appear completely saturated, but physical maintenance should still be considered.

Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson C120. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.

Reset the counter in Epson C120

Use the sequence below to establish a stable USB connection and clear the waste ink counter.

  1. Install the original driver

Install the official Epson driver for C120 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

  2. Connect directly by USB

Connect Epson C120 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

  3. Start Wic Reset Connect

Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson C120.

  4. Enter the key and reset

Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.

Finish correctly: After the program confirms completion, close it, turn Epson C120 off for about 10 seconds and switch it on again. The maintenance lock should be cleared.
