Canon TR6000 Ink Absorber Full Reset
Canon TR6000 may block print jobs after recording enough cleaning and maintenance cycles. Use the sequence below to enter service mode and reset the stored value.
Why Canon TR6000 reports an absorber error
Waste ink is routed away from the print head and retained inside the printer. The firmware in Canon TR6000 calculates usage and may stop new jobs to reduce overflow risk.

How to enter service mode on Canon TR6000
- Turn the printer off.

- Press and release Stop/Reset 5 vezes.
- Wait briefly, then release Power. The power indicator should remain steadily lit.
Reset the counter in Canon TR6000
The counter reset normally takes only a few minutes after Canon TR6000 has entered service mode successfully.

Prepare the printer
Resolve other errors, confirm a steady power light and enter service mode using the sequence above.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Canon TR6000 to a Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11 computer without Wi-Fi or a USB hub.

Run the program as Administrator and wait until the Canon service-mode device is detected.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, select Reset and keep the printer connected until confirmation appears.
If Canon TR6000 is not detected
- Connect Canon TR6000 directly to the computer and try another data-capable USB cable or port.
- Repeat the button sequence at a steady pace; releasing Power too early is a common reason service mode fails.
- If the power light blinks, resolve the displayed cartridge, paper or mechanical error before trying service mode again.
- If Windows does not detect a service-mode device, restart the printer normally, wait 10 seconds and repeat the preparation.
