Canon MP250 Ink Absorber Full Reset
An absorber warning on Canon MP250 does not necessarily mean that the printer is mechanically damaged. The software counter and the physical pads must be considered separately.
Understanding the Canon MP250 ink absorber warning
Waste ink is routed away from the print head and retained inside the printer. The firmware in Canon MP250 calculates usage and may stop new jobs to reduce overflow risk.

How to enter service mode on Canon MP250
- Turn the printer off.

Reset the counter in Canon MP250

Enter the purchased key, select Reset and keep the printer connected until confirmation appears.

- Close Canon maintenance utilities and clear paused print jobs before opening Wic Reset Connect.
- Connect Canon MP250 directly to the computer and try another data-capable USB cable or port.
- Repeat the button sequence at a steady pace; releasing Power too early is a common reason service mode fails.
- If the power light blinks, resolve the displayed cartridge, paper or mechanical error before trying service mode again.
