Canon MB2320 Ink Absorber Full Reset
When Canon MB2320 reports that the ink absorber is full, turning it off and on will not normally remove the lock. The printer must be prepared correctly and its counter reset.
What the Canon MB2320 service message means
Waste ink is routed away from the print head and retained inside the printer. The firmware in Canon MB2320 calculates usage and may stop new jobs to reduce overflow risk.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon MB2320. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
How to enter service mode on Canon MB2320
- Turn the printer off.

- Release Stop/Reset but keep holding Power.
- Press and release Stop/Reset 5 vezes.
- Wait briefly, then release Power. The power indicator should remain steadily lit.
Reset the counter in Canon MB2320
Work through the sequence without rushing. Incorrect button timing or a blinking power light means the printer is not ready for the counter reset.

Prepare the printer
Resolve other errors, confirm a steady power light and enter service mode using the sequence above.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Canon MB2320 to a Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11 computer without Wi-Fi or a USB hub.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Run the program as Administrator and wait until the Canon service-mode device is detected.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, select Reset and keep the printer connected until confirmation appears.
If Canon MB2320 is not detected
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep internet access active for key validation.
- Close Canon maintenance utilities and clear paused print jobs before opening Wic Reset Connect.
- If the power light blinks, resolve the displayed cartridge, paper or mechanical error before trying service mode again.
- Connect Canon MB2320 directly to the computer and try another data-capable USB cable or port.

Does the reset clean the ink absorber?
No. It resets the stored counter. Inspect, clean or replace the absorber pads when their physical condition requires maintenance.
Does Canon MB2320 require service mode?
