Epson T12 – reset licznika zużytego atramentu
When Epson T12 reports that an ink pad needs service, restarting the printer alone normally does not clear the lock. A compatible reset procedure is required.
Why the ink pad counter blocks Epson T12
During head cleaning and normal maintenance, unused ink is directed into internal absorber pads. Epson T12 estimates that accumulation with a software counter; it does not directly measure the physical amount of ink in the pads.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson T12. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson T12
Correct preparation protects the reset key from being used during a failed communication attempt. Verify each requirement before selecting Reset.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for T12 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson T12 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson T12.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson T12 is not detected
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep the internet connection active throughout validation.

Can I reset Epson T12 over Wi-Fi?
No. Wic Reset Connect requires a direct USB connection to the Windows computer.
How long does the reset take?
The reset itself usually finishes in about 1–2 minutes after the printer has been detected correctly.
Does Epson T12 need service mode?
No. Epson printers do not use the Canon service-mode sequence. Connect the printer normally by USB.
