Model-specific reset guide
Epson EP-802A Reset Waste Ink Counter
If your Epson EP-802A has stopped with an ink pad or service-life warning, the printer may have reached its waste ink counter limit. This model-specific guide explains what the message means and how to complete the reset with Wic Reset Connect.
Why the ink pad counter blocks Epson EP-802A
Waste ink produced by cleaning cycles is collected inside the printer. Epson EP-802A tracks those cycles electronically and can stop printing when the calculated limit is reached.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson EP-802A. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
