Install the original driver

Connect Epson TX129 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson TX129.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson TX129 is not detected
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
- Install the original Epson driver for TX129; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep the internet connection active throughout validation.

No. It changes the stored counter value. Inspect, clean or replace the physical waste ink system when its condition requires it.
