Install the official Epson driver for XP-221 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect Epson XP-221 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson XP-221.

If Epson XP-221 is not detected
- Install the original Epson driver for XP-221; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
