Canon G1400 Ink Absorber Full Reset

When Canon G1400 triggers an ink absorber full condition, the printer may block printing as a protective measure. The solution is typically a waste ink counter reset.

During head cleaning, surplus ink is routed to internal absorber pads. Canon G1400 monitors this via a counter and can lock printing at a threshold.

How to Enter Service Mode on Canon G1400

If your Canon G1400 supports service mode reset, follow the steps below before performing the counter reset.

1. Girare la stampante SPENTO.
2. Tenere premuto Stop/Reset.
3. Tenendo premuto Stop/Reset, premere e tenere premuto Potenza.
4. Rilascio Stop/Reset (continuare a tenere il potere).
5. Stampa Stop/Reset 5 volte.
6. Rilascio Potenza - la stampante deve entrare in modalità di assistenza.

Se non funziona, ripetere attentamente la sequenza. Il numero di pressioni dipende dalla serie.

Once the counter is cleared, Canon G1400 should exit the locked state and printing should resume normally.
