Canon MB5180 Ink Absorber Full Reset
Canon MB5180 may block print jobs after recording enough cleaning and maintenance cycles. Use the sequence below to enter service mode and reset the stored value.
What stops Canon MB5180 from printing
The absorber pads collect ink generated during print-head cleaning. Canon MB5180 tracks those maintenance cycles in memory rather than measuring the pads directly.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon MB5180. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
