Before resetting Canon MG7766
Canon MG7766 uses a stored counter as a maintenance safeguard. Reaching the threshold can produce an Ink Absorber Full, Service Required or related support-code message.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon MG7766. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
How to enter service mode on Canon MG7766
- Turn the printer off.

Enter the purchased key, select Reset and keep the printer connected until confirmation appears.
If Canon MG7766 is not detected
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep internet access active for key validation.
- Repeat the button sequence at a steady pace; releasing Power too early is a common reason service mode fails.
- If Windows does not detect a service-mode device, restart the printer normally, wait 10 seconds and repeat the preparation.
- Connect Canon MG7766 directly to the computer and try another data-capable USB cable or port.
