Epson R350 Reset Waste Ink Counter
A waste ink counter warning can prevent Epson R350 from printing even when the printer is otherwise working normally. Follow the checks and reset sequence below to restore operation safely.
The counter behind the Epson R350 warning
During head cleaning and normal maintenance, unused ink is directed into internal absorber pads. Epson R350 estimates that accumulation with a software counter; it does not directly measure the physical amount of ink in the pads.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson R350. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson R350
Use the sequence below to establish a stable USB connection and clear the waste ink counter.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for R350 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson R350 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson R350.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson R350 is not detected
- Install the original Epson driver for R350; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.

What if the first reset attempt fails?
Correct the driver or USB communication problem first. If the key was consumed, use the new-key generator or contact support.
Can I reset Epson R350 over Wi-Fi?
No. Wic Reset Connect requires a direct USB connection to the Windows computer.
Does Epson R350 need service mode?
No. Epson printers do not use the Canon service-mode sequence. Connect the printer normally by USB.
