Model-specific reset guide
Epson L1256 Reiniciar Contador de Tinta Gastada
When Epson L1256 reports that an ink pad needs service, restarting the printer alone normally does not clear the lock. A compatible reset procedure is required.
What the Epson L1256 service message means
An ink pad message is a maintenance safeguard. It indicates that Epson L1256 has reached a stored waste ink value that must be reset before normal printing can resume.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson L1256. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.

If Epson L1256 is not detected

- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
