Canon TR8010 Ink Absorber Full Reset
An absorber warning on Canon TR8010 does not necessarily mean that the printer is mechanically damaged. The software counter and the physical pads must be considered separately.
What stops Canon TR8010 from printing
The lock is based on accumulated maintenance activity. Resetting Canon TR8010 changes the counter value but does not remove ink already held in the absorber material.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon TR8010. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
How to enter service mode on Canon TR8010
- Turn the printer off.
- Mantenga pulsado Parar/Restablecer.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, select Reset and keep the printer connected until confirmation appears.
If Canon TR8010 is not detected
- If the power light blinks, resolve the displayed cartridge, paper or mechanical error before trying service mode again.
- If Windows does not detect a service-mode device, restart the printer normally, wait 10 seconds and repeat the preparation.
- Repeat the button sequence at a steady pace; releasing Power too early is a common reason service mode fails.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep internet access active for key validation.
