Canon TR152 may block print jobs after recording enough cleaning and maintenance cycles. Use the sequence below to enter service mode and reset the stored value.
The waste ink counter inside Canon TR152
Cleaning operations send unused ink into absorber pads inside the printer. Canon TR152 estimates their usage with an electronic counter and can lock printing when that value reaches its limit.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon TR152. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
How to enter service mode on Canon TR152
- Turn the printer off.
- Press and hold Stop/Reset.
- While holding Stop/Reset, press and hold Power.
- Release Stop/Reset but keep holding Power.
- Press and release Stop/Reset 5 times.
- Wait briefly, then release Power. The power indicator should remain steadily lit.

- If the power light blinks, resolve the displayed cartridge, paper or mechanical error before trying service mode again.
