The problem

What the Canon MG6730 service message means

Waste ink is routed away from the print head and retained inside the printer. The firmware in Canon MG6730 calculates usage and may stop new jobs to reduce overflow risk.

Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon MG6730. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.

If Canon MG6730 is not detected
  • Close Canon maintenance utilities and clear paused print jobs before opening Wic Reset Connect.
  • If the power light blinks, resolve the displayed cartridge, paper or mechanical error before trying service mode again.
  • Repeat the button sequence at a steady pace; releasing Power too early is a common reason service mode fails.
