Canon TS3390 Ink Absorber Full Reset
When Canon TS3390 reports that the ink absorber is full, turning it off and on will not normally remove the lock. The printer must be prepared correctly and its counter reset.
Understanding the Canon TS3390 ink absorber warning
Cleaning operations send unused ink into absorber pads inside the printer. Canon TS3390 estimates their usage with an electronic counter and can lock printing when that value reaches its limit.

How to enter service mode on Canon TS3390
- Turn the printer off.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Canon TS3390 to a Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11 computer without Wi-Fi or a USB hub.

Run the program as Administrator and wait until the Canon service-mode device is detected.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, select Reset and keep the printer connected until confirmation appears.
If Canon TS3390 is not detected
- Repeat the button sequence at a steady pace; releasing Power too early is a common reason service mode fails.
- If the power light blinks, resolve the displayed cartridge, paper or mechanical error before trying service mode again.
- Connect Canon TS3390 directly to the computer and try another data-capable USB cable or port.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep internet access active for key validation.
