Canon MG3660 Ink Absorber Full Reset
Canon MG3660 can stop printing when its internal ink absorber counter reaches a programmed threshold. Follow the model-specific preparation below before using Wic Reset Connect.
The waste ink counter inside Canon MG3660
Waste ink is routed away from the print head and retained inside the printer. The firmware in Canon MG3660 calculates usage and may stop new jobs to reduce overflow risk.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Canon MG3660. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
How to enter service mode on Canon MG3660
- Turn the printer off.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Canon MG3660 to a Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11 computer without Wi-Fi or a USB hub.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Run the program as Administrator and wait until the Canon service-mode device is detected.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, select Reset and keep the printer connected until confirmation appears.
If Canon MG3660 is not detected
- Connect Canon MG3660 directly to the computer and try another data-capable USB cable or port.
- Repeat the button sequence at a steady pace; releasing Power too early is a common reason service mode fails.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep internet access active for key validation.
- Close Canon maintenance utilities and clear paused print jobs before opening Wic Reset Connect.
