Why the ink pad counter blocks Epson NX625
Epson NX625 uses stored counter data to estimate absorber usage. The estimate may reach its limit before the pads appear completely saturated, but physical maintenance should still be considered.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson NX625. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson NX625
Use the sequence below to establish a stable USB connection and clear the waste ink counter.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for NX625 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson NX625 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson NX625.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson NX625 is not detected
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep the internet connection active throughout validation.
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
- Install the original Epson driver for NX625; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.
