Epson L376 Reset Waste Ink Counter
When Epson L376 reports that an ink pad needs service, restarting the printer alone normally does not clear the lock. A compatible reset procedure is required.
The counter behind the Epson L376 warning
Epson L376 uses stored counter data to estimate absorber usage. The estimate may reach its limit before the pads appear completely saturated, but physical maintenance should still be considered.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson L376. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson L376
Prepare the computer and connection first. Most unsuccessful attempts are caused by a missing original driver, an indirect USB connection or another Epson utility using the printer.
-
Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for L376 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.
-
Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson L376 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.
-
Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson L376.
-
Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson L376 is not detected
- Install the original Epson driver for L376; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.
Epson L376 reset FAQ
Does the reset clean or replace the ink pads?
No. It changes the stored counter value. Inspect, clean or replace the physical waste ink system when its condition requires it.
Does Epson L376 need service mode?
No. Epson printers do not use the Canon service-mode sequence. Connect the printer normally by USB.
What if the first reset attempt fails?
Correct the driver or USB communication problem first. If the key was consumed, use the new-key generator or contact support.
Restore Epson L376
A direct USB connection, the correct driver and a valid key are all you need to reset Epson L376.
