Model-specific reset guide
Epson Photo 1430 Reset Waste Ink Counter
A waste ink counter warning can prevent Epson Photo 1430 from printing even when the printer is otherwise working normally. Follow the checks and reset sequence below to restore operation safely.
Why the ink pad counter blocks Epson Photo 1430
During head cleaning and normal maintenance, unused ink is directed into internal absorber pads. Epson Photo 1430 estimates that accumulation with a software counter; it does not directly measure the physical amount of ink in the pads.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson Photo 1430. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
