What the Epson L3152 service message means
An ink pad message is a maintenance safeguard. It indicates that Epson L3152 has reached a stored waste ink value that must be reset before normal printing can resume.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson L3152. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson L3152
Prepare the computer and connection first. Most unsuccessful attempts are caused by a missing original driver, an indirect USB connection or another Epson utility using the printer.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for L3152 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson L3152 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson L3152.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson L3152 is not detected
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.
- Install the original Epson driver for L3152; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
