Epson D120 Reset Waste Ink Counter
Epson D120 may refuse new print jobs after estimating that the waste ink pads have reached their service limit. Wic Reset Connect can reset the software counter after the printer is prepared correctly.
The counter behind the Epson D120 warning
Waste ink produced by cleaning cycles is collected inside the printer. Epson D120 tracks those cycles electronically and can stop printing when the calculated limit is reached.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson D120. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson D120
Use the sequence below to establish a stable USB connection and clear the waste ink counter.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for D120 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson D120 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson D120.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson D120 is not detected
- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
- Install the original Epson driver for D120; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.

What if the first reset attempt fails?
Correct the driver or USB communication problem first. If the key was consumed, use the new-key generator or contact support.
Can I reset Epson D120 over Wi-Fi?
No. Wic Reset Connect requires a direct USB connection to the Windows computer.
Does Epson D120 need service mode?
No. Epson printers do not use the Canon service-mode sequence. Connect the printer normally by USB.
