Epson ME-700FW Reset Waste Ink Counter
Epson ME-700FW may refuse new print jobs after estimating that the waste ink pads have reached their service limit. Wic Reset Connect can reset the software counter after the printer is prepared correctly.
Why Epson ME-700FW stops printing
During head cleaning and normal maintenance, unused ink is directed into internal absorber pads. Epson ME-700FW estimates that accumulation with a software counter; it does not directly measure the physical amount of ink in the pads.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson ME-700FW. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.

Use the sequence below to establish a stable USB connection and clear the waste ink counter.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for ME-700FW and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect Epson ME-700FW to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson ME-700FW.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.

- Try another USB port and a known data-capable USB cable if the printer is not detected.
- Install the original Epson driver for ME-700FW; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
- Close Epson Status Monitor and any other Epson maintenance software before starting Wic Reset Connect.
