Epson XP-411 records cleaning cycles and waste ink usage in an internal counter. When that value reaches its programmed limit, printing can stop until the counter is reset.
Why Epson XP-411 stops printing
Epson XP-411 uses stored counter data to estimate absorber usage. The estimate may reach its limit before the pads appear completely saturated, but physical maintenance should still be considered.
Wic Reset Connect is designed to reset the compatible counter in Epson XP-411. The physical waste ink system should still be inspected and maintained when necessary.
Reset the counter in Epson XP-411
Complete these steps in order. A direct USB connection and the original Epson driver are essential for reliable communication.

Install the original driver
Install the official Epson driver for XP-411 and confirm that Windows can see the printer.

Connect directly by USB
Connect Epson XP-411 to the computer without Wi-Fi, a hub or an adapter.

Start Wic Reset Connect
Close Epson Status Monitor, run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and select Epson XP-411.

Enter the key and reset
Enter the purchased key, choose Reset and keep the printer connected until completion.
If Epson XP-411 is not detected
- Clear paused print jobs and restart both the printer and Windows if another program is holding the USB connection.
- Connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use Wi-Fi, a USB hub, docking station or print server.
- Install the original Epson driver for XP-411; a generic Windows driver may not expose the required communication interface.
- Run Wic Reset Connect as Administrator and keep the internet connection active throughout validation.
