Canon MG6100 Ink Absorber Full Reset
An absorber warning on Canon MG6100 does not necessarily mean that the printer is mechanically damaged. The software counter and the physical pads must be considered separately.

The absorber pads collect ink generated during print-head cleaning. Canon MG6100 tracks those maintenance cycles in memory rather than measuring the pads directly.

How to enter service mode on Canon MG6100
- Turn the printer off.

Enter the purchased key, select Reset and keep the printer connected until confirmation appears.

- Repeat the button sequence at a steady pace; releasing Power too early is a common reason service mode fails.
- Connect Canon MG6100 directly to the computer and try another data-capable USB cable or port.
- If the power light blinks, resolve the displayed cartridge, paper or mechanical error before trying service mode again.
- Close Canon maintenance utilities and clear paused print jobs before opening Wic Reset Connect.
